About our Speaker:

Christian has over fifteen years of Technical Territory Sales and Operations Management experience specializing within the Ready-Mix and Concrete Waterproofing Industry. Christian obtained his CIM (Concrete Industry Management) degree from MTSU in 2007, working for large Ready-mix producers and Admix companies in the Mid-Atlantic. With a highly technical background as a QC Manager for 7 years, along with successful territory sales management, he brings a unique blend of attributes to support Kryton’s ever growing customer base. He works closely with customers to include: designing of engineered concrete projects, quoting, selling, customer/industry education and full site support to deliver the best possible concrete solutions for our customers .

Course Description:

Few building materials offer the strength and versatility of concrete. Waterproofing is critical for a functional, superior and long-lasting structure. This educational unit examines exactly how waterproofing works, and how it doesn’t so that the best waterproofing method can be specified for each project. This course provides 1.0 PDH or 1.0 AIA/CES LU.

Learning Objectives:

• Discuss why concrete needs to be waterproofed.
• List the conventional methods of waterproofing concrete and their limitations.
• Describe the use of integral crystalline waterproofing and the science behind it.
• Identify case studies where crystalline technology solved waterproofing issues.
